Who we are

Sistas4Change began in 2020 as a local grassroots organization whose initial mission was to simply provide support for our underserved communities in ways that other non-profits and local resources were not fulfilling. However, becoming more involved in the communities that have been constantly overlooked and forgotten about, forces you to see things in new ways. Today, Sistas4Change-WS, with the help of our dedicated volunteers, have develop specialized programs that are helping to make more of a difference. With the development of Community Eatz; a consistent program; combating hunger, that has been mobile in our low income communities which allows for easier access to warm food, and Twin City Recovery Center; serving as North Carolina’s 3rd ALL peer led recovery support center in the state, along with other specialized events and services, Sistas4Change-WS has dedicated themselves to keeping true to our mission, while combating needed changes.
